A New Game from Heekin Pewter
This is new game I have invented.  It is an easy to learn game of skill and luck where each player is trying to get six pieces in a row before  the other player. While you are making your line you can attack your opponent's line of pieces to block him from getting six in a row and you might have to defend your line. Dice are used to determine who wins these attacks and strategy is used to determine where to attack and where to build your line.
The men are made of pewter of course and are quite small. The 4 3/4" x3 3/4"  board is imprinted on a piece of aluminium which is in turn mounted on a piece of red oak plywood. The game is beautiful to look at and it fits in a coat pocket so it can be played anywhere. Each game takes from five to fifteen minutes to play so it's perfect for a lunch break or between classes. Because there is luck involved a novice can beat a veteran sometimes which is an advantage over a game like Chess where the better player always wins.
